Bio: Much of Akiko's background and history is unkown. At a young age of 5, she was put up for adoption by her birth parents. Moving in and out of temperary houses, as well as having a chance with a family or two, she was never lucky. No one wanted her kind...a neko. Akiko soon got adopted by a very loving couple in their late 30's, they couldn't have kids on their own--Akiko was perfect to them.

Neko's have never really been accepted into modern society, though in recent political changes, this changed. Neko's were now allowed into public schools, hold public/private jobs, as well as vote. Though with all these changes....it didn't change how some felt. Most of the current population hated the species, there weren't many differences between her and a human female--except the ears and tail, in all honesty.

With that being said, there was how ever a small group of people that enjoyed the Neko's. "A new breed of humans." As some said. Everything about their kind was perfect to these people, some liked them, even dated and married them. They treated Neko's right, like they should've been from the beginning.

Akiko was much different than most humans and Neko's combined. She was hyper intelligent, a wiz at alot of things. She joined highschool, being accepted as a junior, she still did the previous years work along with the currents. Over flowed with all this work she finished 3 years in 1, all of her work turned in with straight A's. She made her parents happy, being one of the first Neko's accepted into college, her first year would change her life. 

Akiko had always wanted a relationship with a boy, but never had the time with all of her school work and testing she had. With college being and opening in her life, she decided to go out and make friends. Doing just so she found a man, a year older or so, it was perfect...for a little while. He had dumped her for a human girl, so much prettier than she. Her heartbroken, she bandaged the wound he left behind. Continuing to make friends and soon a boyfriend? Who knows...
